Munika (Pinus heldreichii) is a species of pine native to mountainous areas of the Balkans and southern Italy. It can be found in the mountains of Bosnia, southwestern Bulgaria, Albania, the Republic of Macedonia, Serbia, northern Greece and locally in southern Italy, growing at 1,500–2,500 m altitude. It reaches the alpine tree line in these areas. It is an evergreen tree up to 25–35 m height, and 2 m trunk diameter.
