Postcard with Komodo dragon sent from Komodo Island, with matching stamp

The Komodo dragon is a species of lizard found in the Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, and Gili Motang. A member of the monitor lizard family Varanidae, it is the largest living species of lizard, growing to a maximum length of 3 metres in rare cases and weighing up to approximately 70 kilograms. This postcard is sent from Komodo Island, one of the 17,508 islands that comprise the Republic of Indonesia.

There is matching komodo stamp on the right side, issued on 12.8.2000. On the left side is also two stamps from set Year of the rooster, issued on 21.1.2017.
