Ferari's World title in year 2000 on cover from Modena!

The 2000 FIA Formula One World Championship was the 54th season of FIA Formula One motor racing. Michael Schumacher became Ferrari's first World Drivers' Champion for 21 years having clinched the Drivers' title at the penultimate race of the season. Ferrari successfully defended its Constructors' title.

Inside cover was this beautiful old postcard from Modena  Modena is, along with Turin, one of Italy's main centers of the automotive industry, with a rich history and tradition in this field. The iconic Ferrari brand was founded in Modena by Modenese legendary car tycoon Enzo Ferrari, and today is headquartered just outside the city, in the suburb of Maranello. Several other Italian luxury automobile manufacturers such as Pagani, Lamborghini, and Maserati are headquartered in the Modena area.

On this stamp you can see winning car Ferrari F1-2000. The chassis was designed by Rory Byrne, Aldo Costa and Nikolas Tombazis with Ross Brawn playing a vital role in leading the production of the car as the team's Technical Director and Paolo Martinelli leading the engine design. The car was a direct development of the F300 and F399 from the previous two seasons, using the same basic gearbox and a new engine with a wider V-angle (90 degrees vs. 75 degrees in the 048 engine); this new wider angle improved and lowered the centre of gravity of the car. It also featured improved aerodynamics over the F399 most noticeably a flatter underside of the nose area, which put it on par with that year's McLaren MP4/15.

Thank you so much, Gabriele!

And the last one in extraordinary Canadian flag stamp made from fabric - The 50th Anniversary of the Canadian Flag, issued on 15.2.2015.

My friend sent me inside lot of wonderful Canadian stamps, and i received once again one of the Star Trek minisheets. I have this stamps in self-adhesive variant, but this sheet have classic gum. It's part of the set issued on 5.5.2016. There's a fluorescent frame on each stamp.

Another wonderful minisheet, dedicated to my favorite sport - The 50th Anniversary of F1 in Canada, issued on 16.5.2017. This stamps also have fluorescent frame.

This is minisheet The 100th Anniversary of Montreal Canadiens, issued on 17.10.2009. Using an action-oriented printing process called Motionstamp technology, the three stamps on the souvenir sheet feature replays of the historic 500th goals of Maurice Richard, Jean Béliveau, and Guy Lafleur, while playing for the Canadiens.

Because you can't see motion on this sheet when is scanned, i found this nice GIF to show you how this look like.

Scary and beautiful sharks are on this sheet issued on 13.7.2018. Beautiful design by Andrew Perro.

This circular miniature sheet of 8 stamps is Chinatown Gates, issued on 1.5.2013. It shows Chinatown gates in Canadian cities, and sheet is in shape of traditional Chinese coin.

A nice flower minisheet with daisies, issued on 1.3.2017. Nice design by Debbie Adams.

And another minisheet with flowers, this time with two lotus flowers, Nelumbo nucifera and Nelumbo lutea, issued on 1.3.2018.

And for the end this fantastic minisheet, first from series three-part series Haunted Canada!     Alberta’s Ghost Bride, Saskatchewan’s St. Louis Ghost Train, Ontario’s Fort George, Quebec’s Château Frontenac and PEI’s Northumberland Strait beautifully painted in this gummed minisheet printed in offset lithography and with foil treatment for a special ghostly effect! This was issued on 16.6.2014.

Thank you so much, Trevor!

Monaco: Legendary Race Cars

I received cover from Monaco with whole set Legendary Race Cars, issued on 16.2.2018.
Two famous racing cars are on this stamps: Mercedes Benz W196 & Lotus 49.

The Mercedes-Benz W196 was a Formula One racing car produced by Mercedes-Benz for the 1954 and 1955 F1 seasons. Successor to the W194, in the hands of Juan Manuel Fangio and Stirling Moss it won 9 of 12 races entered and captured the only two world championships in which it competed. Its crash at Le Mans that year ended not only its own short-lived domination on the WSC circuit but spelled the end also for the W196, as Mercedes pulled out of competitive racing in 1955 and did not return for another three decades.

The Lotus 49 was a Formula One racing car designed by Colin Chapman and Maurice Philippe for the 1967 F1 season. It was designed around the Cosworth DFV engine that would power most of the Formula One grid through the 1970s. Jim Clark won on the car's debut, in 1967, and it would also provide him with the last win of his career, in 1968. Graham Hill went on to win that year's title and the car continued winning races until 1970.

Thank you Ricardo!

Russia: F1 Stadium in Sochi

The Sochi Autodrom , previously known as the Sochi International Street Circuit and the Sochi Olympic Park Circuit, is a 5.848 km Formula One racing street circuit in the Black Sea resort town of Sochi in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.

The circuit is similar to the Beijing Olympic Green Circuit and the Sydney Olympic Park Circuit in that it runs around a former Olympic complex; in this case, the Sochi Olympic Park site, scene of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. The inaugural World Championship Russian Grand Prix took place in 2014, beginning a seven-year contract. The 5.848-kilometre circuit is the third-longest circuit on the Formula One calendar, behind Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium and Silverstone in the UK.

Great matching stamps! First one is from set of four - Happy New Year - Winter Olympics 2014 - Sochi, issued on 29.11.2013. Second one World Championship "Formula 1". Grand Prix of Russia, issued on 12.10.2014.
