US Post issued stamps set dedicated to military working dogs: German shepherd, Labrador retriever, Belgian Malinois, and Dutch shepherd.  DKNG Studios created the stamp artwork by first hand-sketching the dogs, then using Adobe Illustrator to bring them to life with basic shapes and layers of color. The red, white, blue, and gold color scheme represents the American flag and the patriotism displayed by military working dogs. Stamp set is issued on 1.8.2019. This nice cover is sent from Randolph Air Force Base, located at Universal City, Texas.

USA: Train cover from Randolph Air Force Base

This stamp set with is issued on 10.5.2019. to commemorate The 150th Anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad. The Transcontinental Railroad was a 3,077 km continuous railroad line constructed between 1863 and 1869 that connected the existing eastern U.S. rail network at Council Bluffs, Iowa with the Pacific coast at the Oakland Long Wharf on San Francisco Bay.

Cover was cancelled with personal handstamp number 1 issued in post office located in Randolph Air Force Base located at Universal City, Texas.

Inside cover was a lot of nice things, like postmarked cut outs, FDC, mint stamps...

Tyrannosaurus rex on cover from US military base

Extinct for some 66 million years, the carnivorous Tyrannosaurus rex dominated the Cretaceous period, which was the tail end of the dinosaur age. With powerful jaws packed in its 4-foot-long skull and banana-sized teeth serrated like steak knives, T. rex easily bit through the flesh and hefty bones of even large dinosaur prey. Its full-grown weight was six to ten tons. Its maximum length was about 40 feet. Although the name “Tyrannosaurus rex” means “tyrant lizard king,” and “dinosaur” means “fearfully great lizard,” they were not lizards at all. Dinosaurs were from a separate reptile lineage, whose closest living relatives are birds and crocodilians.

USPS issued set of four stamps dedicated to Tyrannosaurus rex on 29.8.2019. There's a 3D effect on right stamp, but is not very good, it's hard to see difference. I took two pictures in different angles, but this is the best i can do to show you this effect. Upper picture shows much smaller T-rex head turned to the right, than the bottom one, which is much bigger and clearer.

Military Working Dogs on cover sent from US military base

US Post issued stamps set dedicated to military working dogs. On this cover you can see two stamps with German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever. 

The German Shepherd is a breed of medium to large-sized working dog that originated in Germany. Despite its primitive, wolf-like appearance the German Shepherd is a relatively modern breed of dog, with their origin dating to 1899. As a herding dog, German Shepherds are working dogs developed originally for herding sheep. Since that time, however, because of their strength, intelligence, trainability, and obedience, German Shepherds around the world are often the preferred breed for many types of work, including disability assistance, search-and-rescue, police and military roles and acting.

The Labrador Retriever is a medium-large breed of retriever-gun dog. A favourite disability assistance breed in many countries, Labradors are frequently trained to aid those with blindness or autism, act as a therapy dog, or perform screening and detection work for law enforcement and other official agencies. The breed is best known for their obedience, loyalty, and playful composure. Additionally, they are prized as sporting and hunting dogs.

The 150th Anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad on cover from American military base in Germany

This fantastic stamps set with gold foil is issued on 10.5.2019. to commemorate The 150th Anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad. The Transcontinental Railroad was a 3,077 km continuous railroad line constructed between 1863 and 1869 that connected the existing eastern U.S. rail network at Council Bluffs, Iowa with the Pacific coast at the Oakland Long Wharf on San Francisco Bay. The resulting coast-to-coast railroad connection revolutionized the settlement and economy of the American West. It brought the western states and territories into alignment with the northern Union states and made transporting passengers and goods coast-to-coast considerably quicker, safer and less expensive.

On scanned copy you can't see beauty of gold foil printing, so i decided to took couple of shots with mobile phone camera.

Cover from McMurdo Station in Antarctica

The McMurdo Station is a United States Antarctic research center on the south tip of Ross Island, which is in the New Zealand-claimed Ross Dependency on the shore of McMurdo Sound in Antarctica. It is operated by the United States through the United States Antarctic Program, a branch of the National Science Foundation. The station is the largest community in Antarctica, capable of supporting up to 1,258 residents, and serves as one of three United States Antarctic science facilities. All personnel and cargo going to or coming from Amundsen–Scott South Pole Station first pass through McMurdo. All US mail from Antarctica is processed by United States Air Force, and you can see on postmark military postcode APO AP 96599. And of course, standard US stamps are used, Greetings from South Carolina, issued on 4.4.2002, and Year of the Rooster, issued on 30.12.1992.

Cover sent from Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, through American military post service

My friend Li Ming arranged this cover for me from Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, sent through American military post in South Pole, as you can see on postmark APO AP 96598. The Amundsen–Scott South Pole Station is a United States scientific research station at the South Pole, the southernmost place on the Earth. The station is located on the high plateau of Antarctica at an elevation of 2,835 metres above sea level and is administered by the Division of Polar Programs within the National Science Foundation under the United States Antarctic Program. It is named in honor of Norwegian Roald Amundsen and Englishman Robert F. Scott, who led separate teams that raced to become the first to the South Pole in the early 1900s. Stamp on cover is Christmas Evergreen Wreath, issued on 23.10.2014.

Afghanistan: Postcard sent from Bagram base, missent to Rammstein base

This is my first postcard from the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, war-torn country in Asia. As a result of most recent war, there's a several American and NATO bases, and most famous is Bagram Air Base, largest U.S. military base in Afghanistan. It is located next to the ancient city of Bagram, 11 kilometres southeast of Charikar in the Parwan Province of Afghanistan. It has a dual runway capable of handling any size military aircraft, including Lockheed Martin C-5 Galaxy and Antonov An-225. Bagram Air Base is occupied by the Afghan Armed Forces and the US-led Resolute Support Mission.

Postcard is sent from Bagram Air Base, but unfortunately it's not cancelled there. But there's nice "missent" cancellation from APO AE 09012, and that's Rammstein Air Base in Germany.

Cover from French military base in Central African Republic

The Central African Republic conflict is a civil war in the Central African Republic involving the government, rebels from the Séléka coalition and the Anti-balaka militias.  MINUSCA is UN peacekeeping mission, which started in April 10, 2014 to protect Central African Republic civilians. One of the countries involved is France, and French Army use France postal system for their personnel. This is my second cover from MINUSCA mission, with four stamps and nice cancellations. Stamps on cover:

Cover from French military base in Central African Republic

I received cover from Central African Republic, but not sent through CAR postal system. This cover is sent from French military base in CAR. It looks like regular French cover, but if you look at cancellations, you can see unique postal code 0200 HUB ARMEES, reserved for French Army abroad. Code 0200 HUB ARMEES is reserved for land and air units, code 0100 is for vessels, etc.
